Our first reflection on Web 2.0

Definition


Accoring to Wikipedia(http://en.wikipedia.org/), Web 2.0 is a trend in the use of World Wide Web technology and web design that aims to facilitate creativity, information sharing, and, most notably, collaboration among users. These concepts have led to the development and evolution of web-based communities and hosted services, such as social-networking sites, wikis, blogs, and folksonomies.

Our experience in using Web 2.0 tools

Nowadays, Web2.0 is very popular. Web 2.0 sites often feature a rich, user-friendly interface. It allows users to do more than just retrieve information. The users can use Web 2.0 sites as the sharing platforms, which can encourage communication between each other.

Web 2.0 tools that we have used:


The tools above have different function.
Wiki: The simplest online database. It allows users to freely create and edit Web page content using any Web browser.

YouTube: Users can upload the videos and view the video there.

Facebook: It's platform for users to share, play games and communicate.
Flickr: Users can creat album to share photos with others there.
